Bonnie Quintanilla, Founder and CEO

     Combining a passion for strategy and execution, Bonnie Quintanilla crafts business and marketing strategies that clearly align with clients’ business goals.  During her 20+-year career, Ms. Quintanilla developed her expertise through both corporate and agency experience.  Prior to co-founding Corridor Communications, Inc., Ms. Quintanilla worked as Vice President, Global Technology for Manning Selvage & Lee, a firm she joined after they acquired Capital Relations, Inc. where she was a co-owner.  During her tenure with these firms, Ms. Quintanilla was responsible for devising strategy and executing campaigns for technology and consumer technology clients.  Ms. Quintanilla earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Colorado, as well as a Professional Designation in Public Relations from the University of California, Los Angeles where she was later hired to teach “Writing For Public Relations.”   

Phyllis Grabot, Founder and President

     An aggressive, results-oriented communicator, Ms. Grabot is proficient in planning and executing all aspects of the marketing function, and is skilled in a broad variety of tactical disciplines, including partner programs, product marketing, award and speaker programs, press tour management and implementation, copywriting and editing, event management and promotion, market and media research, media, analyst and community relations, strategic planning, media training and crisis communication management. During her 20 years in marketing, Ms. Grabot has worked with many Fortune 500 companies, as well as start-ups.  Ms. Grabot held marketing and public relations positions at Manning Selvage & Lee, a global public relations agency, Capital Relations, a high technology PR firm, Tekelec, a communications systems company, and Rogers & Associates.  Ms. Grabot holds two bachelor of arts degrees, one in journalism, and the other in Radio, TV & Film from California State University, Northridge.

Tim Aufmuth, Public Relations Specialist

     Tim Aufmuth lends his talents to Corridor Communications, Inc.’s public relations programs, specifically media relations, articles, NewStream and event management.  Mr. Aufmuth worked as a marketing specialist for Amtrak where he was integrally involved in the “Pooh for President” Whistle-stop campaign in partnership with The Walt Disney Company.  Mr. Aufmuth was promoted to the Washington D.C. office of Amtrak where he worked in brand management and national program development.   Mr. Aufmuth earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Purdue University. 

Janis Brett Elspas, Analyst Relations Consultant

     Janis Brett Elspas brings 25+ years of corporate, agency and consultant marketing communications experience to the table.  She has handled virtually every type of tech product category from hardware, software and peripherals to the Internet.  This is complemented by a long track record in technology market analyst relations and in general consumer and business public relations.  Past employers include Hill & Knowlton, Rogers & Associates, Informatics General Corporation, and Fairchild Industries, among others.  Ms. Elspas holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Arizona, Tucson and a Professional Designation in Public Relations from University of California, Los Angeles.

Mary Beth Aufmuth, Research Associate

     Mary Beth Aufmuth works with Corridor Communications, Inc.’s research programs in support of client events, media relations, measurement, and campaigns.  Prior to Corridor Communications, Ms. Aufmuth worked with the State of Ohio Corrections Department where she was responsible for inmate and community relations, public service programs, training, and writing.  While with the state, she created, implemented and supervised community service programs including fund-raisers (marathons) for breast cancer research and community gardens whose food was distributed to local food banks.  Ms. Aufmuth earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology and corrections from the University of California, Berkley, and her master’s in correctional administration from Kent State University in Ohio.
